Entry requirements

ATAR and selection thresholds

Final offer: 75% interview (MMI) + 25% UCAT ANZ, having met the academic threshold (ATAR 95.5; 93.5 Greater Western Sydney; 91.5 rural). The ATAR is a pass/meet threshold, not weighted into the offer.

Structured pass/competitive thresholds are being verified for this programme.

Student-reported

What applicants have reported

Student-reported · 2026 · not official

STUDENT-REPORTED (Med Students Online, 2026-entry threads; anecdotal, ~10-12 points — the best-populated, but still small/NOT official). Interview invites/offers clustered ~92nd-98th UCAT percentile (raw ~2340-2520); invite floor near low-90s percentile. GWS-local and rural sub-quotas lower the bar (a non-rural non-GWS 2390 missed an interview). The invite formula over-weights Verbal Reasoning, so total-percentile alone under-predicts. New 900-2700 UCAT scale.

Rural and Indigenous pathways

Rural Entry Admission Scheme (REAS) — lower academic threshold (ATAR 91.5 vs 95.5 non-GWS); a separate Greater Western Sydney local pathway also exists.

Western Sydney University offers an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (or, in NZ, Māori and Pacific) entry pathway. Confirm eligibility and the application process at the source.
